    Re: Beocenter 9000

Hi, i am based in Singapore. I have a beocenter 9000 with upgraded CD mechanism(with clamp) changed by B&O Singapore. The set was sent in for the change last year and checked. The trim is in bronze and i believe the new CDM will last you many years to come. You may find a set with old CDM but you have to be careful as it might breakdown half way through.

My old original box was thrown away due to the humidity problem but i have the after-sale box from them which i got it for my BC9500. I am not able to find the manual unfortunately. Let me know if you are keen and make me an offer.

    Hi flex73,

I also have a Beocenter 9000 and I wouldlike to upgrade the CD mechanism. Could you please let me know more about your upgrade with clamp? Thanks a lot for that.

    Kind regards,

    Re: Beocenter 9000

    Hi js,

Sad to say or i believe that the CD clamp mech. type replacement for the beocenter 9000 is no longer available with the service center,  i do not know if they still have it at your area, doubt so :( .I was lucky to get the replacement done, believed to be one of the very last still in stock at my svc center.:). Even the newer BC9500 parts are obsolete now. Basically, the new mech requires you to clamp the disc before you play as opposed to the old fragile clip type which originally came with the 9000.

    Thanks
