    Kevin:

A firm date as soon as possible would be great flights can be considerably cheaper booked earlyWink

    cheers,

    Kevin

    Fair Point.

So July 19th or 20th are being considered.

These are Thurs / Friday evening.

Preffered date is Thursday 19th, which will be confirmed as the actual date on this thread next Friday ( the 1st June )  unless there is a strong objection / preference for Friday the 20th.

    Regards

    David

Count me in for the Thursday if that's what ends up being the preference. Anyone from the Sheffield area thinking of going over to the dark side of the Pennines that wants to share a lift, give me a shout!

An agenda of sorts would be helpful in deciding whether or not to attend. (not wanting to make it too official  - an estimated "running order" might be a better turn of phrase)

Re: NW Beoworld meeting at B&O King Street Manchester

Friday is better for me as I have early starts and I'm on call that week.

Weekend would be even better but obviously we have to consider what King Street want as I imagine Saturday would be a busy day for them.

Have we now got a confirmed date? Friday has now gone, so wondered what the latest news was.

Sorry about the delay - been camping, and rain meant I had to stay an extra day so I could pack my tent dry - ready for GlastonburyCoolBeerLaughing

So....the inaugaral North West BeoWorlders Meet will be on Friday 20th July,2007.

As the first evening is intended to be a "putting names to faces", informal affair, it will be  "open house" from mid afternoon onwards, with time to chat and play with all the BeoToys, with (Danish) drinks and nibbles.

Future evenings will probably have a more structured theme - a new product launch, or a "vintage vs new" evening etc. but as this is the first, it will be an informal affair.  I will arrange for FOC entry into a nearby venue for some live music & drinks from about 9pm for anyone local/staying over ( will need aproxnumber by mid- July )

I'm hoping to have a surprise or two on the evening, more details to follow.

I look forward to meeting you all,and welcoming you to our shiny new shop.
