    This weeks Beo5 Poll

Last week provided some very interesting results and out of the 72 members who votes 30.6% purchased it, but do not use it or used it as a paperweight.

23.6% were very happy with their purchase and 6.9% were considering it for controlling 3rd party products.

19.4% of voting members have older or simple configurations which do not justifiy the purchase of a Beo5

Also 19.4% of voting members would purchase the product if they received the configuration software as well which means B&O could make potentially at 14 Beo5 sales.

This week's poll relates to using the Beo5 in daily use..

Which statement reflects your views most closely when using the Beo5

    • It's a great product, which I find easy to use and I use it as my main remote (27.3%)
    • I use it without problems, but my partner/wife/husband still uses the Beo4 (30.3%)
    • I like the look-n-feel of the Beo5 and I always use it, but I feel its not as easy to use as the Be4 (24.2%)
    • I use the Beo5, but some functions have not been configured by my dealer which was/is a frustration (6.1%)
    • I keep forgetting to put the Beo5 on the charger base and the battery goes flat quickly (6.1%)
    • I want to use the Beo5 more, but most of my B&O products are older which limits its use (6.1%)
    • Total Votes: 33
    • Voting Ended: 12/01/2008

    Regards Keith....

    Re: This weeks Beo5 Poll

Presumably this weeks response will be in the 30's since of last weeks respondants only just over half actually had a Beo5.

I'm a fan of the idea of the weekly poll, and I'm sure we can gather some insight (to our membership at least, although I think we have established isn't representative of B&O users as a whole) from carefully considered poll questions, however I think limiting the polls to the Beo5 only limits the appeal/interest to the remainder of the membership.

    Thoughts??

Generally speaking, you aren't learning much if your lips are moving.

    Oh heck!
There is nothing I can click on there. If there was another option like
---I am too bone idle to set it up properly---
    or
---I only use it to show off to friends/visitors/family---

I am goinng to click 3, but if the word 'always' was removed, it would be better. (and if the Beo 4 had an 'O' in itWink)

    Poor me, never win owt!

    Hi,

Incidentally, when I was at the Beosound 5 demo last week, Bang & Olufsen Sweden's representative said that the Beo5 should last 7 to 10 days without charging! Mine doesn't, so they thought it might be that I don't have the latest software. That should solve some of the issues with forgotten charging! Wink

And on the same note - I would like to check 1 and 6, as my trusty old Beocenter 9500 has my most beloved B&O item - my Beogram!
