    Beosound 9000

    Hi

I have a beosound 9000 and it makes a strange noise when each cd spins.  It sounds like the cd is scratching on something but when I take the cd out there's no marks on it.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

I think it´s the taco sensor or some like that

    I had the same problem

    No big cost to change/adjust

    hi,

have you recently changed the beosound 9000 mounting position horizontal/vertical/flat?

if so it could be simply adjusting the cd clamper configuration at the back of the unit to the right position

I have the same problems sometime and when I clean the lens it is OK, but don't clean the lens with wet things only dry cotton.

If what Jason says doesn't help then it is the black plastic clamper arm which is slightly bent and touches the spinning CD and you hear a scraping sound. It needs replacement (p/n 2854003),  possibly, though less likely, only an adjustment.

Not a big deal at all, but best to get both done by your dealer ...
