    No FM or DAB?

I'm a bit troubled by this as a lot of people have metered downloads from their ISP. Streaming will start to eat up bandwidth at some rate which may catch people out.

I agree. The omission of FM or DAB detracts from the utility of the BS5.

The bit rate for net radio is relatively low, so would not use too much bandwidth. BS5 will come with a choice of 8000 internet radios. Most ADSL connection in France, UK are illimited. They simply have a fair usage policy that is usually very large.

Beosound 5 is presented a a stand alone product, but in fact it should be seen as a complement to your existing "traditional system" (CD, FM).

The problem, is that the living room becomes a bit too crowded...

Too true. Despite the fact that I was 'sold' on the basis that B&O = fewer cables, my place seems to be a cable 'mare, especially with all the link cables and so on. Add more kit, you get more cables and, don't forget, we have to hide that BM5 somewhere, too.
