BeoVision 7-40 MKI -> MKII -> MKIII type numbers or serial numbers?

    Hi,

I am in search for a BeoVision 7-40, but would like the MKIII version. How can I see whether it is MKI, MKII or MKIII version? What is the type number cut off or the serial number cut off? And when did the MKIII version actually start selling?

    Kind regards,

    Lars.

Seem to recall the MKIII came on the scene in Sept/Oct 2007, think type nos were 9470+ or xx70+, can't remember exactly.  Not much help.

You can tell if it is a MKIII by the color of the displayed letters and numbers in the upper right hand corner. If it is a light blue it is the MKIII.

If you want the Mk3, just look at its back. The BV7 Mk3 has a built in Beosystem 3, with 4 HDMI connections.

    My BV7-40 Mk3 is Type Number 9376.

    Regards

The MKlll Does have 4 Hdmi Connections at the back and the Beosystem 3,but the display on the top right hand side is in white.

If you press menu button twice on a Beo 4 the set up menu for the Beosystem 3 comes up on the tv screen as well.

Thanks a lot for all the good answers.

Now it will be easier for me to spot an MKIII.
