    Beo5 and Sky TV

After a power cut during the night my Beo5 (and for that matter my Beo4) will not control my Sky TV box (connected to a BeoVision 4) as it did previously. I powered everything down for 30 minutes and then booted up again but still no joy.

    Any suggestions?

Nothing to do with the remote, it is your STB-C that is not working.

Make sure the cable with the IR emitter is still in place.

Make sure the TV has not forgotten the STB-C settings.

All connections are in place and I can control the box with the sky controller so I'm not sure what's wrong.

Check if it has lost the puc settings by pressing:

    Menu > Options > Connections>

Then select the port that the STB is connected to which will either be

    DTV (STB)

    or

    V. AUX (STB)

Click on it, select the type of Sky box from the list. Select "Follow TV" or "Never" on the next menu then click go to save. This should sort the problem out!

Thanks, I've tried that but still no luck!
