The same functionality to access Netflix movies will be added to the Xbox 360 next week.

That is for me a very appealing concept. I have Netflix for DVD rental anyhow, Apple TV is sort of expensive over time (even may be chepaer then cable for some).

Yep, my wife and I will also be looking into more information about the Roku... It'd be nice to have immediate access to movies, and cut out the "hassle" of mailing them back... Sheesh.. well it's not that much of a hassle, but the prospect of immediate satisfaction is compelling. -Sal

    Sal-

I've heard that Netflix will also be available via your Tivo! Therefore, you and Nora won't even need to buy anything new to add that functionality.

Hope it is sooner than later... currently, the only TiVO Netflix functionality is to manage the queue. Downloading movies isn't available... (yet?) -Sal

Having tried the Netflix streaming service via the xbox 360, I have to say that I'm not at all impressed. The picture quality is not even close to that of the Apple TV. In fact, it looks worse than a poor VHS copy. Also, there is no capability of browsing the titles on the TV. You first must go to your computer to add titles to your cue.

Roku is going to be included in the next addition to the PUC.
