    MX7000 and Link PC

Is a 2-way MX7000 able to get the PC source connected to the BV7-32 in the main room?

When I press PC on the Beo4, it seems to ignore it.

    Re: MX7000 and Link PC

    Hi PhilLondon

I have a very similar set up over here, BV7 and PC in the main room and MX7000 in the link room.  So far, I have never been able to get access to the PC from the link room, so I just considered that it wasn't possible.  I will be waiting with interest to see if someone does have a solution but from what I have read it does seem unlikely.

    Anyway, here's hoping!

There seem to be two distinct problems. The BV7 is not able to send a HD source (DVI) to the RF modulator for the link rooms.

The usual way around is to split the DVI output and to convert one of the signal to SD and send it through the Scart of the BV7, in addition to the DVI connection.

The other problem, is that even if I connect a SD source and name it PC, I cannot activate it on my MX7000.

"older" BeoVisions do not recognize the PC command

I also used to use the PC command, but I now use DVD2 (V.TAPE2) and I can watch my PC (connected to the scart) in link rooms.
