Hello,

Im having odd problems with this old TV but I dont want to throw it out.  I replaced all the bad caps a couple years ago using Jean's repair guide but it started acting up again shortly after.  The problem is the tuner appears to be dead, none of the RF inputs work.  If I use a external tuner through the RCA inputs, I have a picture but no sound (just static).  If I press 'Shift+VTAPE' the sound switches to the channel.  Whats weird is if I press 'TV' it switches back to the static, but if I change channels, the sound will be from an over-the-air channel.  The picture always stays the same. There are also black bars running horizontally when the overall picture is very bright.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
