    Workbench videos ?

I've posted this in the General forum rather than the Workbench forum just to get a sounding off everyone....

My eyes have been opened by venturing onto You tube for the first time and it got me thinking..........would it be possible to have a facility to be able to show short, probably highly edited, video clips showing how to do certain tasks. Examples might include :-

How to get frets off Pentas (despite being given plenty of advice, I'm still terrified to try.....)

How to replace mirrored panels on Beocenters (9500/9300 etc)

How to clean the inside of a MCP volume control

    etc etc

I realise short, but decent quality video clips are very server space hungry, but it would be sooooo much better than a series of stills.

    Good idea or barking ?

     Cheers

    Nigel

    Re: Workbench videos ?

Not a bad plan but I think a series of marked up photos might convey the same (or more) information and should be a smaller file size.

Generally speaking, you aren't learning much if your lips are moving.
