bs 3 and projectors or another panel?

Does anyone have a list of compatible projectors? Specifically, ones that the BS3 will control?

Also, has anyone used the BS3 to run two panels?  If so, please let me know how it worked and if there

    were problems. . .

Projectors you can add in the PUC table to be controlled by Beo4/5 are:

    Samsung SP A800, H700 and H800

    Sim2 C3X, HT 3000 US 60Hz and HT 300

I can't help you with the other question.

    Regards

You can control any projector via the BEO4 with the Lintronic IR Blaster I understood.

That list looks pretty thorough.  You can't go wrong with the new Samsung or any of the Seleco/Sim2's.

As to your second question,  do you mean to ask 'How well' does it work, or 'How, exactly,"  Does it work?

In the first case, it works VERY well.  Earlier this year, I was involved with an installation of a BeoVision 7/US, which incorporates the BS-3 chassis, driving the Samsung A-800B, and a separate center channel speaker.  There were a couple of issues to overcome, because this was the first A-800 sold in the US, so we were discovering things as we went along.  In the end though, it works brilliantly, the customers are thrilled, and the local B&O shop has a story to tell.  Many of the shops in the US have a set-up just like you're designing, don't know about the EU though.

As to how, exactly, it works...there is a second 'monitor' output on the BS-3, and a selection to be made in the 'connections' menu for the projector.  Run the video cable (DVI) and an IR cable for control, and decide how you're going to manage the screen, and any lighting and drapery.  The BS-3 can do all of that with a little help, and some projectors can also do it.  Then there are a few extra steps involved in setting up the speakers for 'Cinema'.  Take your time, and you'll have no trouble.

    We kid because we love.
