    MX6000 bass drivers

At least one of the bass drivers in my MX6000 has foam rot (didn't hear anything wrong, but I peeked with a flashlight). Are replacements still available new at any reasonable price, or am I better off refoaming the original pair? Can't be too hard given the rather small size...

    Terve Mika,

There have to be replacements available. And I can't imagine they would be too expensive. And if you can do the replacement yourself it should be expensive.

    Hi Mika,

There should be a 7 digit part code stamped on the back of the bass driver, which will allow your local B&O dealer to re-order the part for you.  Alternatively, you could check the Service Manual on BeoWorld, which should have a full parts list.  Let me know if you can't find it and I will try to locate this for you.

    Best regards,

    Steve.

    Thanks guys,

I may check with the dealer about the pricing, but I'm afraid I might be too lazy to do anything after all. As I said, I can't hear anything wrong with the sound and if I want the best sound for a music program or something, I'll route it to the audio stack anyway...
