Beomaster 6000 stuck at low volume

hello. I have a Beomaster 6000 which is stuck at low volume. Pressing the volume buttons, I can hear the motorized volume potentiometer, but the level does not change. What could be the cause for this and how difficult is it to repair? thanks!

Very common problem with BM6000's. It will be the rubber belt that has stretched/come off. Openit up and replace the belt. Its not to difficult to do.
