Beocom 2 Won't charge

I have a beocom 2 that won't charge, i Have cleaned the contacts on the bottom and when i put it in the base, the Logo comes up briefly as if charging but then goes off. Could it be the battery or the contacts, the base is fine as it charges my other Beocom 2. Is it possible to removed the bottom of the phone?

i dont think its the base it seems to be the battery oder the cables from the bottom of the bc2 to the battary inside of the bc2.

you have to open the bc2 and look inside!
