Beocom 2 (used) not registering with new beoline base

Please help!!!

I have a used beocom 2 which i am trying to register with a brand new beoline base. The beoline base is flashing as expected but the beocom 2 handset just keeps saying "no contact with base".

Any help much appreciated, thanks!

The software in the handset has to be 2.5 or higher. I think it has to be a mark 2 to be able to get this.

If your beocom 2 is a mrk 1 it will not work with the new beoline.

uh oh..

Only works with old square base station. Buy on ebay. Bang has run out. :(
