As my dealer told me today that there is no problem to integrate the new BS 5 with my BV 9 / BS 9000 setup (he e-mailed B & O and asked them) i ordered a BS 5 this morning.

He promised me to deliver me the second one they get (the first ons is for the shop itself)

How else orderd / will order one?

It will be launched aprox 3 weeks in Copenhagen. We can order it now and then recieve it marts 09.

I did not order one yet.... My dealer (2 employees of my dealer) have had an introduction course of the BS 5. They both were very enthousiastic about the device. Navigation appears to be fantastic en really "B&Oish". They both believe that B&O has made a real B&O product which will be a hit.

I can't wait till next month to play with the BS 5.

ok misled, we get the point :)

But thats a different matter, it takes a long time to produce a ferrari and there will always be demand since its based on the previous models etc people know it.

this b+o thing is a new device, its like ferrari making a ferrari motorbike... yo shoud see before you buy... and with the waiting list, its all rubbish, flash the cash and people are not stupid, they will sell it to you.

I figure you can always back out if you don't like it when you see it.

I'm not desperate to go digital for now, so I will wait and see what the BeoSound 5 is like before I make too much of a comment. I would still like to know the full capabilities of the system and for instance if it will be better than my Apple TV. I will go in store next month to check it out.

I had a chat with my dealer today. He told me that BeoSound 5 will be launched at a press meeting in the royal Opera, Copenhagen, november 11. I also recieved my ticket for the VIP event november 14. It had a picture that showed a piece of BS 5, looked very nice!

I was told that danish price is 30000 dkk (BS5 + BM5) He also told me that you can add severel BS5 to BM5. BS5 price 13000 dkk.

Finaly I have ordered one, too. I have waited for a new audio concept like this for some time and really like the design made by Anders Hermansen.

will the VIP event you are invited to be in Copenhagen? I got my tickets for a VIP event at the same date in Kolding, Denmark.

The photo on the ticket does not tell any news I`m afraid.... just the wheel and some coverart.

I will Steph and of cource give my first impression of BS5.

To cut a long story short, I have just been re-united with my collection of CDs from about 10 years ago.

While going through them, sorting them, many memories came back to me, but I also started desperately wanting a BS5 to load them all and being able to re-discover all that music again!

My dealer told me this week that the price of the BS-BM5 would be around 4700 € here in Luxembourg. He mentioned nothing about the launch date, but he told me that B&O had some serious software-issues to fix before the launch.
