    Hi every one,

This is my fist entry to Beo world, i also bought a Beolab 2000 on ebay last week, and am hoping to link it up with my BS3000, The Beolab will be put in the Kitchen.

Do i just need a power feed ???, and a Master link connection to my BS3000.

I am looking at putting a master link cable around my house, for future equipment, do i need just to break into the cable and put a junction box in at various point around the house. And would it be easier to buy the cable with the plugs on all ready, and put a Junction box to extend the other ends of the cable, as it is  hard trying to put a master link end through a 25mm hole.

The lab 2000 is a great link machine.

I used to have one in the kitchen, but sadly I sold it.

All you need is power and a ML cable.

Welcome to Beoworld, nice to see you have joined as a Gold member too. You are correct, you just need to break into the cable. There are junction boxes made just for this purpose. You can I believe buy leads with just one ML connectionat one end and bare wires at the other. This makes it a lt easier to thread them through where you want to.

Thanks very much for your advice craig.

I hope to set the unit up in the next couple of weeks.

Do you know where i can buy the ML leads with only one end.  Boss com perhaps ????.

B&O can supply them like that - The easiest way is to just splice into the existing ML and solder the connections rather than using a junction box. You just have to remember the short out the pink/blue and white, as the junction box does this for you.

I heard Bosscom have gone bust and made to destroy all their stock due to a copyright lawsuit so I think you may struggle to buy from them now.

    Hope this helps,
