Need help connecting BEOLAB 4000 to BEO 3200 using two wire cables, can it be done?

    Hi

I have two copper wire cables running in my house can I connect BEOLAB 4000 to BEO 3200 using these cables or do I have to pull the B&O provided cables around.

If I do cut the B&O cables they have three wires running which of those two should I use

    Thanks

    Sunit

The most satisfactory way of connectiong is with B&O power link cables which have multi pin din connectors. I suspect that these are not the B&O cables that you mention as they have more than 3 conductors.

I could just about imagine a system which would work using powerlink/rca adaptor and your existing cables but this would be an absolute last resort.

I would think it very likely that you would suffer from a good degree of background hum if you did this. Powerlink cables are well shielded to avoid this.

Agreed Peter. Not what I would do or recommend but in theory it is possible. Result would probably be less than acceptable!
