    Beocom 1600 / 2400 / 2500 - How to...?

Does anyone know what sequence of keys I need to press in order to store some phone numbers in one or more of the memory locations (Beocom 1600 this is)

i.e. key in phone number then...?  ENTER > MEMORY (No:) or   ENTER (then key in number, then...)  ENTER

Think I've tried about 8 possibile combinations of buttons with no luck...  And it's supposed to be simple to use?

    Hi

I have the 2500 and I type the number, then Enter and screen says Enter the name. I type the name and Enter again. That's all.

I am assuming you do not have a user manual which is available on the Beoworld site for silver and gold members.

To add a number press ENTER then enter the phone number then press and HOLD the ENTER key down while entering M1 or M2 or 0 to 9 depending which memory location you are saving too, then release ENTER.

    Hi.

An elderly friend had a Beocom 1600 for a very long time, and when it "grew old" she bought a second-hand Becom 2400. Of course there are no User Instructions, and the original ones disappeared long ago.

Your information on adding numbers to memories will be very useful.

How can we increase the ringer volume for incoming calls?

To set the ringer volume you need to:-

The left and right < > are used to set the volume up and down. To set the volume at a level when a call is received then:-

    Press MENU then 8

    Press ENTER

Press and hold > until "ON" is shown in the display then press ENTER

Use the < > buttons for the desired volume level then press ENTER

    Regards Keith....

Thanks very much for your prompt and helpful reply.  I am going round there this evening and will set the numbers and volume.

     Again, Many Thanks

As a silver member you have access to the user guide which is on site for download.
