    beocom 6000 compatibility

    Hi all in Beoworld, 

    Does anyone know whether the phone compatibility is through the base or the handset? (e.g. will a US handset work in Australia with an Australian base) I'm thinking of expanding my number of phones, and as I don't NEED them (who of us really NEEDS all the wonderful B&O things we've bought Wink ) I was thinking of delving in to ebay worldwide to make a couple of telephone purchases rather than buy new.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Jonathan,

    A US Beocom 6000 phone will not work with your Australian base.

    Why don't my BeoComs (bought in UK) work in Europe? Is this the same for everybody?
