    Usage hours on MX5500?

    Hello,

    Is there some way to check for how long the tv has been on? And how many hours is the picture tube supposed to last? The remote is Beolink 1000.

    Kind regards,

    Olli

    Re: Usage hours on MX5500?

    A relative of mine has a Beovision LX5500 with BL1000 and there was some key combination that shows the hours the set has been powered on (and some other readings too). I don't know if it works too on the MX series but perhaps somebody else knows...? In case this works on MX series I'd like to know it too as I have a MX3000.

    I own a LX4500 and I can see the hours by pressing

    the Beolink1000 without the [LIGHT] button:

    [SHIFT] [TEXT] [0] [0] [PLAY]

    the Beolink1000 with [LIGHT] button:

    [MENU] [0] [0] [PLAY]

    Could be, but it still feel little. 121 days a year, when we watch TV almost every day.

    OK, during my years at university of Lund she was collecting dust in my parents house. No time for TV with all that parties. BeerDrinks

    Counting on 12 years it's an avarage of 172 days a year. With vacations and so on it could maybe be correct.

    I will see later this week if the counting has changed.

    If I'm correct

    A = hours (x10)

    B = hours (x10) link usage

    C = number of days the TV has been on

    So your TV has 2064 x 10 = 20640 hours of usage
