Mac Mini + Beovision 7 Full HD

Hi there all, I know this is a subject that has been around for long, but even doing some research and a lot of time wasted in it, I can't get it to work as I wanted...I'm sure it's really easy to solve, but here I go:I have a 6 month old Beovision 7 40" and a Mac Mini C2D fully equiped. I wired the video through a DVI to HDMI cable, and the sound via regular way. The thing is that I can't get the proper resolution in order to get the Full High Definition to watch a divX movie. When I start the mac mini resolution is set default to 1900x1600 and I don't understand why if I set it to the highest one (1920 x 1080 ) I think the screen gets black and doesn't support it.

Which resolution should I set in order to watch the movies the best way? I don't wanna loose some screen by overscaning the resolution...

Thank you very much to everyone ;)

Re: Mac Mini + Beovision 7 Full HD

Did you enable "overscan" on the mac mini display settings and set the Beovision to pixelmap full HD (don't know what the menu on the Beovision would name it, but basically this option will display pixels that normally are outside the visible screen area for traditional reasons).
