A few weeks ago I bought the DVI upgrade kit for my BV5.

It doesn't scale. The panel has it's own resolution and a variety of resolutions it can handle.

I have a 852x480 panel (D6) and it can handle resolutions up to 1280 x 1024.

Don't forget it will probably not work for every (commercial panasonic) panel.

The BS (chassis) has to tell the panel to switch from the VGA input to the DVI input.

The 16.2 software supports D5, D6, D7 and D8.
