    Opening up a BG 4002

Can anyone help me achieve the above? I want to change the belt - I've looked at the service manual but I still can't see how to do it.......

    Cheers

Pull the wood trim forward and all the metal plates are released. Changing the belt could not be easier once that is done. The wood trim will be stiff!

Download the BG4000 service manual. Page 2.1 has a diagram! Same principle for the 4002.
