    I'm loving these!

We have a customer who is a real B&O 'connoisseur' called Steve who has a business not too far away from us, and he mentioned his customised RED BeoLab 4500's...

Intrigued, i asked him to forward some images to me - and here they are.  I don't care what anyone thinks.. i LOVE these !!!

Just thought i'd show them to you.  Looks like i'm not the only one who likes 'individual' models.. Smile

Rather splendid methinks - I wonder who re-covered with the most extreme colour (or color for our American friends) - Post here if you've done better (or worse)Big Smile

btw - I do think the original "tweedy" fabric was dire!

I reckon he needs new curtains as there appears to be a very slight difference in the shade.  Must have it all 100%.  They are superb!!

What happened to the speakers above the BV3? They look strange.

    Re: I like these!

In which way Hmm To get the best (wide) sound,  the speaker element  itself has to bee fare away from each other. Then the green light  panel have to be side by site.

The speakers are off course original.. There must bee two different version. I think mine are the best looking in that way Yes - thumbs up

edit . someone must have change the way they look them before I get them. Its easy to change theme back as they look "original"

    Re: I like these!

Looks really great in red - and very danish btw. In Denmark Beolab 4500 / 5000 are also called "Dannebrog højttaler", which means something like "danish flag speaker". In red even more......

    ouch!
...a year ago, you seemed to like them

btw, i like both the red ones and the "rearranged" ones.
i have actually purchased cloth to redo my bv3000 passive panels as their frets have seen better days.
now -everyone let out a groan: i bought a "tan" colored cloth that compliment my wall color. when i ever get around to changing them -i will post a pic here. my bl3000 actives are perfect and will remain the original blue.

Wow, I'm in love!  I could even put up with the (very slightly) less than perfect sound of the 4500's with that colour scheme.....

Now I'm wondering what my RedLine 60's would look like in that shade.... (Ok, maybe not!)  Cool

However, I do have a few spare sets of CX50's in the loft that are in need of a makeover Devil
