    Works perfectly in my set up. I do use an iPod as a remote though but the Beo4 works as it should.

    Including the Digit keys, N.Radio, Colour keys?

    No problems.

    But I use the old Beoport software version.

    The Genius feature has made me use N.Music again after neglecting it for ages.

    I think you're using same setup as I am. Could you please confirm the versions :

    - "old" PPC macmini

    - beoport - firmware?

    - BM-link - version?

    Your post sounds promising. I gave up updating versions ages ago facing all sorts of problems each time I tried touching anything.

    Yes, first edition Mac Mini PowerPC non-IR version.

    BM-link version 1.0.1

    Beoport firmware version 1.18 

    Beoport firmware is the latest I believe. I tried to upload the 1.5 software version. At first it worked, but after some time (approx. 2 hours) the connection failed. So I uninstalled this version. And reinstalled the 1.0 version. The firmware didn't change back, and stayed the same (1.18)

    Hallo *PM*,

     

    Heb niet de 1.5 versie maar 1.0 versie van BM-link van Anders Odlund op de Mac Mini draaien.

    De 1.5 versie heeft als voordeel op een Mac met IR ontvanger FrontRow te bedienen met de BEO4. Dat heb ik proberen te doen met een IR-oog (van Lintronic) aan de oude Mac Mini (non-IR versie). Het werkte! Helaas maar voor pakweg 2 uur. Na een random tijd begaf de interface het. Heb dus daarna de 1.5 gedeinstalleerd en overnieuw 1.0 versie op de Mac gezet. Dan maar zonder FrontRow. De firmware in de Beoport is trouwens wel gelijk gebleven.

    De oudere versie van BM-link werkt nog steeds voortreffelijk met de BS3200. De feedback is mogelijk door op de GO knop te drukken. Zie ook voor deze opties de website van Anders Odlund.
