Beovox s35 for 50 GBP, worth to buy?

    Dear All,

I have got an opportunity to buy a pair of Beovox S35 in great condition. I suppose it is not much, though I am not an expert regarding vintage B&O stuff. Could you advise me on that?

Can the speakers last another 25 or maybe 50 years? Can sth rotten here?

    Cheers!

    Wasti

Hi, in my view the S35 were nice speakers, but not really something to spend good money on now, unless you really like the looks.  Why not take a look at the newer RedLine 60 / RL6000, I picked up a mint pair on eBay recently for around £40 and they sound far better than S35's IMHO.

TNot the finest speakers of that era, but they are decent enough  and there is no reason they should not last for many years to come.

Here in the UK the price would be too high, £10-20  would be the going rate, but I am not sure how easy it is to get older B&O in Poland so you may feel it is worth it.
