    Hi,

The brackets are fixed to the wall and the units simply attach onto the hooks on the wallbracket.  The beomaster has a longer bracket than the cd/beocord.  Measure the wall up and the brackets before you start drilling! They are a but fiddly to get right but check and check again.

With regards to the cable covers, these have been on ebay recently, and for a decent price but are hard to get hold of.

Actually, the bracket for the Beomaster is the same as for Beocord and Beogram CD, only they are attached different.

Re: mounting system for the beosystem 4500

The image shows a wall bracket for components of Beosystem 4500 (and 3500)

Beogram CD 4500(3500) and Beocord 4500 (3500) are mounted with the bracket attached to the wall as shown above.

With Beomaster 4500 (3500), the vertical parts are placed on the sides (the other openings in the bracket)

The unit "hangs" on the 2 small hooks of the bracket.

    Hi

If you wall mount your system take it as a good routine to check the glasspanels now and then. It has happened that the glue gets weak with time and the panel can fall off in worst case. Normally it's no problem - but it's good to know.

Or you just mount it to a wooden 'plate' as the following picture suggest (and it did work, too)!

hi there did you mount your system to the boards in the picture?  ive decided i just like it sitting on top of a small entertainment system i do have the riser feet for the back of all the units so it still looks nice!  but can you just mount on the boards?

Yes, just one board (for BM, BG CD, BC).

just be sure the panels are attached firmly - as stated above, they tend to get loose over time.
