    Beolab 4 Ceiling Mount

Does anyone here know where I can find pictures of Beolab 4 hanging from the ceiling?

Thinking of doing this myself, but have never actually seen it... would like to know if it looks good or not :)

Don't have a picture but I can confirm that it does look quite nice.  I've got them in the kitchen and a bedroom.  Just be careful if you install them yourself in corners.  Due to the symmetry of the speaker it is crucial to get the mount placement dead accurate to look right.  There is no template and the only way to pre-visualize is to hold the speaker in place while seated in the mount.  The only problem is that once you get the speaker in the place you want it is very tricky to accurately mark the position of the mount as it sandwiched very small between the speaker and the ceiling.  As a result I found it tricky to get the mount placed accurately on the ceiling so that the corners of the speaker would be symmetrically placed in the corner.

Also, be sure to leave enough room in the corner for the speaker to rotate approx 35 degrees as this is required to attach and detach the speaker from the mount.

    Thanks guys!

    Indeed it looks nice :)

Just another question... I saw in a pricelist somewhere that they sell a special version of the front cover for ceiling mounting, part no. 6045...

What's the difference? Is it just the logo that's upside down or what?

What I have seen in the pricelist and I think you will need is the part n. 2177. It's a piece to place the BL4 in the ceiling, 25 € each one.

    Cheers

yes, as far as I know the only difference to the standard cover is the direction of the B&O logo.

I have the Lab4 wall mounted with the ceiling mounting kit. I Don't like the "lamp" style of the wall mount.
