    Loundess on a BeoMaster 5000

I have a BeoCenter 3500 which states the loudness control only has effect below a volume setting of 4. I could not find this information for my BeoMaster 5000 in the user manual, service manual, or in these forums. Does anyone know the volume setting for the BeoMaster 5000 that ends the effectiveness of the loudness control?

It certainly should do as any good loudness circuit is designed to have lass effect at higher volumes. Unfortunately B&O put less and less information in the manuals - look at the Beolab 5000 amplifier service manual as a comparison!

I believe the amp's loudness setting goes to 6, I think.
