Hi,

I am having trouble whenever I conncect a non B/O product to the aux input of by beomaster 7000.

When using the CD or the tape, all the volumes levels are fine. Some time ago I bought a  Roku Soundbridge and connect it to the "in" of the aux however I needed to have the volume at around 60 to get a similiar volume of 25 when using the CD player. I returned the unit thinking that it what defective. Now I have conncected by brand new Toshiba 40ZF355 from the fixed output to the aux in on the receiver and I am having the same problem.

I am using a four pin to DIN cable, can some please let me know if I am doing something wrong; is there a setting that needs to be changed?

Do you get the same problem if you plug the device in the Tape2 socket?

I haven't tried that yet, I'll let you know.

Well now I have another problem, I've connect to tape 2, but I don't know how to select tape 2 with the beolink 1000.

Whenever I select either TV,Satellite or V tape, I alwayse get the aux on the receiver.

 Any Ideas?

To select tape 2 press "shift" then "tape"

You should be able to use the aux input for this though. How are you selecting aux? The correct way is to press "shift" then "radio". There are some strange combinations to get the correct setting, on my BM7000 I press "shift" > "radio" > "1" when I want to use my TV through it. If that doesn't work then try "shift" > "radio" > "5".

Shift > tape gives me tape two and shift > radio give me aux, however I have to increase the volume up to over 50 before I hear anything

(on both settings).

Also at that point there is also a disturbing noise from the speakers every time I change the volume.

What are you connecting the devices to the Beomaster with? I suspect that the DIN plug is not wired correctly. Try changing the 4 RCA plugs around.

If you plug the AUX source to the AUX input, and turn the beomaster to Tape 2, do you still hear the AUX source? If so, then you have connected it to the wrong pins, you should use the output pins... My Beocenter 9300 does the same...

I reversed the plugs and sure enough that seems to have been the problem.
