Christmas came early this year: My new Beolab 4000!

Just thought you might like some pictures of the last month’s first prize: A big box arrived last Monday, and the feeling of Christmas Eve started spreading. (no snow though, only rain, typical Danish summer).

In there was a small notice saying Congratulations, and a lot of bubble-wrap, and…. A pair of all black beolab 4000! Rest of the day went with positioning, listening, repositioning and so on. These are my first Beolabs, until now I have only had passive speakers.

I’ll add more pictures when I decide what to use the beolab 4000s for. At the moment I got a pair of beovox 5000 panel speakers driven by a Rega amp for main speakers in the livingroom, but perhaps I’ll have to find a new wall for them.

    Best regards

    Christian

Oh aren't you a lucky duck! Couldn't think of a better way to start with Beolabs (bar the 9's and 5's) The black is very pretty, and they could (and do) make a storming pair of main speakers especially on the floor-stands, give it a go eh, but they can be used in so many different applications, they're by far my favourite current B&O product, given the price, they astound again and again and again and again... Thanks for the pics Christian!

The 4000's have a huge following here on BeoWorld, and i must confess i think they are great speakers too!

Keep the phot's coming - i'd like to see them in their 'final resting place' so to speak.. Smile
