Seems a shame design doesn't match performances!

What do you mean about performance? Agreed about design though - stunning!

I was referring to the speakers it would have been great if one could have the bl9 experience in such display, but I know it's impossible!!

I've never liked the bl2,I do admit its efficiency with movies but have a go with John Coltrane and you'll see what I mean, and even if, I think it's a waste of money to hide it away.I was just dreaming of a perfect sonovisual match.

Laughing The 6000s are great for movies though! Without a BeoLab 2 however, quite limiting. All in all though, photo shoots are not about the sound quality, more about the design! Shame B&O don't do a wall mount for the BeoLab 2. That would be really funky (but difficult to do).

Are those really BL6000s? They look better than ever!

I'm bored of the BL2, never been over the moon about its design either.

    Re: splendid!

I think the 6000s look great on those wall brackets.
I wonder if 8000s would as well. Or perhaps with the big 'clog' on the bottom they might be to heavy.
I suppose you could make one with a small hole that accepts the pointed bottom without the clog attatchedIdea I feel a patent application coming on Wink

Someones already beat you to it Andy!

Brackets were available (I think) some time ago or someone has mounted them on the wall using the spike at the bottom as the fixing point.

No where near the same affect if you ask me because of the size of the 8000s.  The 6000s are more subtle and pull this off superb!

I had exactly this setup for almost a year and was very sattisfied with it. The sound quality sure is not comparable to that of BL9, but I think it is good quality for that budget. The BL6000 are very good for films and even for music, the only real problem is the lack of bass, but the BL7 helps to cover that lack...

it is interesting how a little thing like a wall bracked can give a complete new perspective and "freshen" up the look. Makes me want some .....

They all look fantastic as long as you don't see the hanging cables... I always like it with the B&O advertising - cables are never on display.

Why would you want to mount them on the wall in the first place?

You can't exaclty toe them in when on the wall, it would probably look ridiculous. Also in that picture, the tv itself is on a floorstand, so doesn't really match with having wall mounted speakers. Also as already mentioned, with cables it will look silly unless you can find a good way of hiding them without ruining the wall.

Are the wall mounts B&O original?
    Cost?

I think it's a good idea, because it then fits a wallmounted TV better. One of the big reasons why I would never have a wallhung TV in my livingroom, is because I think it looks ridicolous when the speakers are that much in front of the screen.
Why they have then chosen to display it with a TV on a floor stand is beyond my understanding.

Yea, you're right Toubro, would be fine if both tv and speakers are wall mounted, then it's ideal.
