Mapping keys from BL5000 -> BEO4
Where can I find a overview of mapping of keys from a BL5000 to a BEO4 / BL1000. I have bought a 2.hand lintronic box, but the box does not react on keys like A.RECORD, V.RECORD, TURN.......

Re: Mapping keys from BL5000 -> BEO4
I can see that being complicated! I take it that you are using the BL5000 in two way mode. I have not seen a conversion chart but if you are using a one way TV, the first thing I would do is set the remote to one way for video signal. (I guess you have already done this). I would concentrate on getting the Beolink 1000 working first and then try the BL5000. I am sure Michael at Lintronic will be able to advise though.

Re: Mapping keys from BL5000 -> BEO4
The problem is that both TV and audio are 2-way - thats why I don't want to change to 1-way. The core problem is that I can't get the 238 box to react on the V.RECORD, A.RECORD, TURN and other BL5000 specific buttons. I have seen such a chart once in a manual but I can't remeamber where. I Guess I have to dig.

Out of interest, what are you getting the Lintronic box to do?

Re: Mapping keys from BL5000 -> BEO4
Thanks, from which manuel did you get the picture ? My goal is to operate my Sony HX750 HDD recorder and my TViX M-4000 media player with my BL5000. On the Sony the Subtitle key should be mapped to the TURN key, The HDD and DVD button to the V.RECORD and A.RECORD. Another key that the box don't react on the the REC.STOP key - the REC.START key is OK.

Re: Mapping keys from BL5000 -> BEO4
I use a DVD controller for my Panasonic HDD/DVD-R/Freeview box - quite successful! The page is from the Beocenter 9500 user manual - I remembered seeing it many years ago so had a little search!

Re: Mapping keys from BL5000 -> BEO4
I also found an owerview in the "Video system 7000" manual where other key combination are listed. Maybe I shold upload a picture to this thread once I find my scanner. My MX4000 is 2-way - but was sold with a BL1000
