    LX2500 vs MX7000

I currently use a LX2500, but I am planning to upgrade. One option is a MX7000. Does anyone have an opinion regarding the sound? Besides watching TV I am also using the LX2500 in speaker mode for listening to music from the link system and I really like the sound. If I used an MX7000, what would be different regarding sound? I will not have the opportunity to compare the sound with the two TV sets next to each other and would appreciate if someone has an opinion.

The MX has active speakers but the LX has good sound anyway. The speakers in the LX are also further apart which helps. Not much in it really! Obviously the MX will be quite a bit newer!

Agree with Peter ... but if you compared LX2800 with MX7000 ... I would say the LX is superior.

    Re: LX2500 vs MX7000

My parents have a LX 2500 and I use a MX 7000. In terms of picture and sound quality I prefer the MX 7000, even though the left and right speakers on the LX are further apart. My parents prefer my MX 7000 as well in both picture and sound quality.
