    Re: again

I don't understand. That photograph looks photoshopped? Grey text looks better IMO though.

    Re: again

the new thing is that the display text is white-grey, and not red. this picture can be found on the mediacenter. I don't know if it is a new feature to the BV7 or if the picture has been "photoshopped". I prefer the red text...

I think this is of the US BV7 40 which is supposed to have a white over the red display that the Euro BV 7 have.

go to the mediacenter and compare the 2 pictures with the BV7-display saying "DVD 4 11", where one is red and the other grey. I am think (am quite sure) that this is only a black-white copy of the original picture. Look to the reflects of the BV7 screen: on the original, it seems to shine a little red, whereas on the black-white one, it shines grey. I may be wrong, but judge yourself...

    Re: again

First of all I don't know anything on the subject.

    I can only say this.

The BS3200 will display CD 4 11 on our ML-connected BV7-32 when on the A.MEM 4th CD is playing song number 11.
The BS3200 is equiped with a Hard Drive.

In the picture you can see DVD 4 11.
If you ask me, the BV7 will be equiped (finally) with a Hard Drive.

uh, good point. I did not think about the display "DVD 4 11", but your explication makes sense. As I have no idea about ML, I did not think as far.

    Re: again

I know in many countries it is illegal to make a copy of a DVD regardless if you own it or not. I know that Kaleidescape somehow got away with doing this legally, I am thinking as they might keep the protection intact. I also know that some US dealers do sell the Kaleidescape server solution so they could have some sort of relationship.

I would not be surprised if we see a DVD server B&O branded, that would give them an edge over other vendors. They were sort of early with the BS3200 too ......

    Re: again

A good thesis -- the other possibility would be "DVD Index 4 Track 11."
