    Hi:

I would be realy interested in buying some shares in B&O. I know a small amount about the stock market. However, I really only want to do it to lend soe support to the brand and to perhaps make a small profit. I know that I would need to buy a share holding account etc. However as the current price per sare is £24 and I only really want to punt a few hundred pounds, would I be able to do this?

Please feel free to send a PM if it is easier.

    Thanks

    Graham

Normally one should not invest less than 1000£ in a single company, due to commission fees. However it is up to you. Smile

You must call your bank, and sign up for a share holding account, and then advice them to buy the shares. Remember to be specific on that you want to buy foreign shares, and not only domestic.

The correct name of the stock is "Bang & Olufsen B", and the Bloomberg ticker is BOB DC Equity, and the ISIN ticker is DK0010218429. The tickers can help your bank to identify the share. B&O is traded on OMX Copenhagen.

This is so exciting news for me, I have been waiting for it since B&O started their co-operation with Audi to get premium stereo also in my favourite brand car... I allmost turned into thinking of a new Audi to replace my Mercedes - but now I have to start saving for a AMG model Big Smile

Who really want's to listen music in a SL 55AMG when you can enjoy the sound of a v8 ?

Please B&O, make a/v components, not car entertainment systems....

You say that but the B&O Automotive division has been immensely successful. The A8 system is the best I've heard in a car, and that includes the Mark Levinson system...

You're absolutly wright. The B&O system is the best you can get in car audio Smile, but I'm almost 3 years waiting on a new B&O a/v component that's really good. I prefer they design some new a/v stuff first before they go back in car entertainment...
