    I just replaced a pair of BL 4000s as center channel speakers with a 7-1; the 7-1 is absolutely amazing. .

    The vocal reproduction is considerably better than the 4000s; The 7-1 keeps up with the lab 5s where

    the 4000s always seemed to struggle

    Just wanted to complement the 7-1 any one else have the 7-1? it seems to really bring these movies to life!

     

    I'm ready for something new that I actually want to buy!

    I had the 7.1 with my BV7-32 for 3 years. I then had the 7.2 with the BV7-40. I too thought it was fantastic. However, the 7.4 is even better, with the correct speakers. For instance, get the 7.4 with the BL9's and it's a step up again by far. Voice is more dynamic, for example, due to the ALT speakers.
