Need some help.I have a BeoCenter 2 (brand new) and everything is fine BUT for the noise it gets from the Plasma TV I have next to it. As a result I can not control the BC 2 with the remote when the TV is on. I went and bought a IR Eye from the B&O store. I have pluged it into the CRTL on the BC 2 socket but nothing happens. Is there a setting I must do for the unit to operate via the IR Eye? Thanks

There isn't a setting specifically for the external eye, but I'm not certain that it will work regardless.  The Control IR input is generally meant for use with a BeoSystem 1/2/3, and I don't know that it is wired appropriately for the B&O external eye.  But, to be thorough, have you tried using the remote with the Plasma turned off, and ensured that it works directly with the BeoCenter 2 before attaching the eye?  It is just possible that it has gone into Option 0.
