    New B&O book for collectors.

The Jarman brothers have written a book about B&O collecting which will be released in November. There is a link here and it is also to be available on Amazon. Nick and Tim have both been very supportive of Beoworld over the years as well as running their own excellent  B&O resource site, Beocentral. I am sure this book will be a must have item for all B&O enthusiasts - and a good idea for a Christmas present if you are asked what you want! Beats socks any day!

Perhaps we can get the author to sign a "first edition" as a Beoworld prizeSmile

That will be top of my Christmas list this year. Peter, does this mean that a lot of the pictures will be of your equipment?

All the pictures are new - some of the bits might have passed through my hands but I actually have very little these days. I have already ordered mine!

I'm delighted of reading this. Tim is an great person and  one of the most knowledglable B&O individuals. I've got a Beomaster 4400 from him and can't be happier. I even listen to it more than to my Beosound 9000. I'll grab one of the first copies for sure.

This must be THE book. Something one did not think could exist in reality. Although vast information is on the triple whiskey, nothing beats the book format. I hope it will sell well. At least, I will buy it as soon as it is released.

I will be buying one for sure. I just wish we didn't have to wait so long for it to be released!

I sympathise, November might seem like a long time to wait, but in fact we have only just finished proofing the final layout! It will be a few weeks before the corrections are complete, and then we have to wait for it to be printed. We've actually been working on it for some time, but it will be worth the wait.

There will be more information nearer the time on Beocentral's front page, so do check regularly.

Neil - all of the items of yours we photographed made it into the book. In fact, one of them is on the back cover...

Can trump that! Apparently my old Beocord 1600 is on the Front cover! Laughing

Looking forward to getting my copy - of course you do realise that the Beoworld lot will be scouring the copy for any slight error! Laughing Though knowing Tim, it will be a fruitless task!

Ah but what if there were one deliberate, obscure error burried in the copy. Now there's a competition!

Well SWMBO always buys me a book for Crimbo so this looks like the one for this year.

Really looking forward to its release.

Ah ... well I still have most of mine ... in the vain hope that once the book is published, it may be worth a little more ... fat chance.
