    Beomaster 3300

It was my intention to write a quick post about my beomaster 3300, another relic that has not been used for a while. Having just redecorated the conservatory i have decided to give it the retro look !!!.

I recently accquired a Beocord 3300 , got the Beomaster out and low and behold it worked. The Beomaster had developed a fault whereby  it started buzzing, particularly on the tuner and would drift and you would get slightly different levels of hum depending on what mode you had selected. I thought this might be some leaky capacitors in the power supply or the amp stage, no doubt it if is, it will fail again in a couple of hours.

The Beocord all seems to work fine apart from it appears to be running a little fast ( well at least Christy Moor never sounded like that when I saw him live)

Is there a pot to control the motor speed ?

    Thanks

    Steve

    Hi Steve

Yes there is a pot to adjust the speed on the bc3300. The pot is located on top of the drive motor.
