    New lightdimmer from LK.

Hi all, just want to share this with everyone.

The danish company Lauritz Knudsen just made a new lightdimmer for mounting directly in your existing outtake. The dimmer works by touch AND...."Drumroll" .....Beo4 and Beo5.

    Have a look.

Mmm..  looks very interesting... I'm not looking for an extra dimmer at the moment... So someone else will have to take the plunge and test it out..

The race for quality has no finish line- so technically, it's more like a death march.

Does this mean that you can just plug it in the wall socket and use the regurlar wires already there ?. Apose to Bang olufsen LC2 where you had to draw extra F and neutral wires to the sockets ?

    Hi EOB

Certainly seems lige it. I am not an electrician, however a guy at Oneremote provided me with a detailed mountinginstruction.

    http://shop.oneremote.dk/content/43350_org_manual.pdf

its in danish, but the drawings could maybe provide the answer.

Here in denmark, it should be an out of the box solution without having to do aditional wireing

Maybe somone with a little more knowledge kan confirm??

It is correct you can use  Beo4, but I think the funtions are to limited compared to LC1 and LC2, it is only possible to use Light RED, YELLOW BLUE and GREEN. that means 4 dimmers total.

    Hi Soren

I think you are right about the 4 available controls. However, who has more than 4 wallmounted lightdimmers in each room?

    I indeed do not.

If you do however, maybe it is not a suitable solution as Soren describes.

That also mean you cannot mix LC2 and this new lightdimmers in the same room, unlike with the INNOVUS.
