    Beoloab 2500 front covers

To protect the speakers from [pressing and fiddling] little children's hands : is it possible to replace the cloth version front covers by the alu version on the Beolab2500 speakers without any adjustments ?

    Hi Beologisch

    Short answer: No. Sad

To fit the alu-covers you need to replace the part of the BL2500 where the speaker units are mounted as the alu-fronts have a different mounting system. You'd need the "baffle kit" for the BL2500 but I don't know if it's still available as spare part.

    cheers

    Re: Beoloab 2500 front covers

I priced this conversion the other day for a customer. Still available and £186 for parts in the UK.

Be aware that the Al fronts are very delicate and any dents stick out like a sore thumb!

If I were you I would buy one of the wall brackets that I have for sale and mount the whole lot out of the childs way!!
