Re: What's playing RIGHT NOW?
Meddle, by Pink Floyd. Fantastic album, there is a part in Echos at around 18.14 that just send shivers down my spine. Could listen to that part over and over again. It is as if the whole track builds up to that point. Craig

Pierce, that is from the latest album isn't it? Not heard it yet but what do you think Anette's vocals compared to Tarja's. Probably why I have not been that been that quick to get the latest album. Nice to see you back BTW. Craig

Yo, it's really, really good. Just don't try & compare the two. Tarja did the musical/semi-operatic thing fantastically, Anette is more like Christina from Lacuna Coil. Have you heard anything of Tarja's solo stuff? Good to be back.

Not really, just seen some stuff on You Tube. Heard she was recording a solo album at some studio in Ireland. Is it out yet? Craig

Re: What's playing RIGHT NOW?
Back in 1974, with George Mc Rae and his "Rock my Baby". Great song during the true era of Disco. Guy

Re: What's playing RIGHT NOW?
Beethoven's 7th Symphony. Went to a performance of this at the sage last night. We were unfortunately in the very front row so the sound was interesting! We were sitting just level with the Leader of the Orchestra so the violins were quite prominent! It was however a splendid performance and extremely interesting to be that close - about 8 foot away! I could read the music as it was being played!!

Jean Michel Jarre - Oxygene. Got a free copy with the Mail On Sunday. Already have an original copy on Vinyl. Anyone got tickets to see it performed live later this year. He is going to do some dates one of which is at the Albert Hall. Using all the original Synths which he still owns. Craig

Really? High and Dry is one of the band's least favourites, and mine too. I still like it though...
Currently - listening to Horizon by The Cinematic Orchestra from Every Day...

I bought The Bends from Woolworth's the day it came out in 1995 on my lunch break. I was in Year 11 at the time, and it replaced 'Blow Out' as my favourite Radiohead song, and remains so to this day. I just like the production on that track for some reason. I remember all the fuss about OK Computer when it came out - the NME went mental about how it was the best album ever etc. - but I kind of started to lose interest in the band after that, particularly when Kid A came out. I think The Bends is their high-water mark really, but that's just my opinion. I digress: currently listening to 'Slide Away' by Oasis, from Definitely Maybe.

Damn!! I don't usually buy a Sunday paper, but I had planned to get this one just for the CD> Perhaps if I go in early tomorrow they may still have one. Andy T.

Had a listen on the PC through Form2's earlier. Not had it on the BS3000 yet, looks as though I am going to have to wait to as the boys want to watch a film in 5 mins. Craig

Re: What's playing RIGHT NOW?
Me too - I was slightly disappointed to find that it is a re-recording though. Anyone notice any differences to the original??
