    Re: What's playing RIGHT NOW?

I listened to my vinyl copy for the first time in a very long time last month. It was in the loft for 10 years as I didn't have a decent  turntable 'til my B&O collection got underway ealier this year.

I had forgotten how good it was!

I think everything from blue six is sweet, that entire beautiful tommorow album was amazing.

I have Hotel Costes 10. Thas was released in the US as an import earlier this week. As usual, few very very amazing songs on it with the remainder beeing still interesting. Great fo cocktail hour.

I always liked the Naked Music label managed by Jay Denes.

    - Blue Six, Aya, Miguel Migs, Lisa Shaw, Gaelle are among my favorites singers/ group.

IMHO, Naked Musik produce one of the most Sensual, Down Tempo & Deep House.

By the way, my best song on the Beautiful Tomorrow album from Blue Six is Love Yourself performed by Aya.

According to the Hotel Costes series, my favorites ones are the first and the second.

William Orbits version of Barbers Adagio For Strings. Got an excellent condition copy on Vinyl off Ebay. Sounds superb, had it on first thing this morning.

    Re: What's playing RIGHT NOW?

I do find that bit of a weird recording, the original is just so much better and more expressive. The Orbit version seems to flatten it off into a dull, samey dynamic.

At the moment, I'm listening to House Of Pain - Jump About from the Hexstatic mix DVD. Awesome song Big Smile

    Re: What's playing RIGHT NOW?

Been listening to Duran Duran's latest album. Red Carpet Massacre, it was one of my Christmas presents. All I can say at the moment is glad I did not pay for it. maybe it will grow on me, I don't know. Their later stuff just does not have the same appeal as their 80's and 90's albums.

    Re: What's playing RIGHT NOW?

Genesis lastest live album from last years tour. The old chaps can still bash out a decent tune or two (esp. the older stuff, In the Cage, Afterglow, Carpet Crawlers etc). I was so laid back I even made a half decent attempt at the ironing (my halfWinkLaughing).

Generally speaking, you aren't learning much if your lips are moving.
