Last night I activated iMatch in my iCloud and *voila* today I now have 7,800 songs accessible from the iCloud 

(yes it was more like *voilaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa (it's still working on uploading 2,531 tracks) aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa")

But surprise (for me) it also uploaded my playlist definitions 

I have a playlist called "Beoworld" that contains a match between my library of songs and recommendations from fellow Beoworlders 

So that is what I am listening to on the BV8/ATV2 ... from the iCloud ... not from my Mac ... not from my CDs

Picked this album up today! I've had a few of the tracks (the popular ones) from iTunes for a while and thought that those were the only ones worth hearing. That changed once I heard a different track on saturday night. Definitely suprised how well this pop group put together such a great set. Can't believe it has taken me 6 years to discover this one!

I'm listening to it now as I type this and I can't stop, it just sounds too good to turn off! This is one well composed and well recorded album, sounds amazing over the 5000s.

I like the Beo4 control - did you do that or is it part of a software package ?

After some 12~18 months I moved the Beolab 11 from the BV8 to the BS4 in the other room where it is now in series/daisy-chain with a pair of BeoLab 6000s

The BL6Ks never sounded sweeter than they do now -- playing all sorts of classical music and falling n love all over again.

Put some of Sue's favourite male opera stars on, and she keeps running into the room to hear the pieces.

Outstanding.

Yes this has been created thanks to Visual Basic 6 and Buttonmaker

As I don't own a Beolink office or PC2 (I wasn't even aware of them back then) I had to "invent" something on my own.

The Beo4 picture is connected to winamp via an self-made USB IR-receiver & a VB program I both made years ago. So it can be remote-controlled with an Beo4.

You can also click on the buttons to control - just for fun.

And you can even switch the look (which shows the age of the project BTW)

And yes, Evan, I can listen to other things than country, too

In high school I attempted the same... but didn't get very far. I didn't finish due to my (complete) lack of visual basic knowledge!
