second that soren, i love trawling round the sally army shops, re-use centres, charity shops, you always find little gems in there, i found mint original kraftwerk 12"s "the model" and "tour de france" all for the princely sum of £0.30 each!!! i couldnt believe my luck, the cd's they sell average around £0.50 each....  they sounded superb on my beogram and beolab 8000's (thats until my mmc wore out)

anyhow im playing "texas, southside" album, which i also picked up for £0.50 in mint cond. moral here chaps, "those who seek shall find"

After changing one cap and two presets and adjusting the presets, my BM 2400 is playing like a dream, I've been playing radio stations, cd, and turntable of and on for a week now. tonight I sat down and put on Bonnie Tyler, Faster than the speed of light, Before that I thought I had too much bass in the left channel, but it turned out to be my imagination, so after Bonnie I put on Suzie Q, one of my favorites is Big One, rumors is that Suzie allways drank half a glass of whisky before she started that one, its on the Suzie Quartro Essentials 2 CD, there you can exercise your bass and tweeters, At the moment I've got it with my S45s but I wonder if it will sound will be better with the 3702s I have coming.

Leslie: Once upon a time there was a guy on this forum he/she/its name was EUGENE, but now I know his real name is Richard, this guy is very knowledgeable in vintage, do you know where he went, or is he trying to get some smoke out of his mountainbike tires, I ask because I miss him on the forum. he had some interesting art too, do you know where he is ???

Never sure why I bought that DVD since there is only one song on it I like, but it makes a reasonable test vehicle because of that

Radio Universal, Oldies but Goldies, Mexico on my BM 2400, S45s, I just love that sound now that my BM is working perfectly, at the same time I watch Mexico- Brazil U20 smifinals, no sound of course.
