I like the 3300 system, really one of the better of the flats as far as sound goes. 

I agree with that comment 100%, just a shame they don't quite cut the mustard as far as looks goes. A bit of an aquired taste but if you can get beyond that they make a very easy system to live with. I have a couple of complete 3300 systems passing through my hands at this moment & I've really enjoyed messing around with them whilst testing them out.

Watching first season of Mash, mono, even that sounds good in BL 8000-BL 4000

Yesterday my sister in love gave me a stack of old vinyl LPs, some 50-60 pcs. Between them i found The Beatles White Album, a 2 disk album, 1 disk ok not mint but nearly, disk 2 with some scratches but plays good, there is also a lot of big band jazz in the stack, I have to get to cleaning and sorting it all. Inside the White album I found a big poster 50x70 Cm and 2 pics 6"x10" Ringo and Georg.Have to ask the old girl (70) where the other ones are. My LP collection is now up to some 150 pcs.

dug some of my old tapes up from early to mid 90's with lots of Stu Allan and some happy hardcore . Loaded into my beocord 4500 - Can't believe some of the stuff I use to listen too! The tapes have aged well too!

As the forum is very quiet at moment, yesterday I went to a concert with Electric Light Orchestra and Allan Parson Project, in Auditorio National, in Mex. city, Auditorio is a fantastic consert hall with a incredible sound equipment, got my brain blowed out with some heavy, good old rock

For music lovers, any sort, Auditorio is a must visit if ever visiting Mex. City, Auditorio has seating for 35.000 people, no disturbing pillars and the sound comes clean to every seat, I frequently visit for all kind of conserts, live music well done is amazing, Wienna Philharmonics, Barry Manilow, Beach Boys (yes they were here some 3 years ago), a lot of good Jazz conserts, many of the US Bands and artists use Mexico as a test point before going on tour. Auditorio is open 7 days a week, with something new every day.

So if you visit Mexico, lets meet, get some Beotalk going and together vi visit Auditorio

anyway, the point of offline scrobbling is that when you do get back to being in Wi-Fi range the system catches up 

it is also interesting seeing how one's tastes wax and wane

My way of keeping the Beocord alive. I am listening to Club de Belugas using a Griffin car cassette to iPod adapter.

It works pretty darned well. The Beocords are truly a wonderful piece of equipment.

So are most new pressings respectable sounding? I've been very curious as to whether digitally mixed audio converted back to analog sounds good or not.

Breaking in the latest rebuild to the sounds of Zimpala, Holden, Bonobo, Zero 7, Dephazz, Sia ......
