Re: What's playing RIGHT NOW?
Alex: Bought Transformer on vinyl a month ago - excellent album. I have both Rumours and Wish You Were here on CD and vinyl - both in fantastic condition too. Right now I'm listening to the sound of my A level composition from Logic - finished the whole recording this evening and I just need to do a proper mixdown.
As good as "Transformer" is, "The Velvet Underground & Nico" is a much, much better (and more influential) album. Haven't compared them on production values mind, maybe thats a job for this weekend

I don't have that album, I'll have to try and get hold of it soon...
Right now I'm listening to Groovin' by George Benson, a brilliant cover of the Young Rascals' classic.

Tangerine Dream - Le Parc, the title track of which was also the theme tune to Streethawk. For those of us old enough to remember it. Craig

So I was not the only one who added to their vinyl collection over the weekend then. Got a couple of original Kraftwerk albums. The Man Machine and Autobahn. Plus a few other 80's albums. Craig

Always makes me smile hearing that album title. Apparently she picked the name based on the place of the same name on the Wirral (i can only assume she had never actually been there) The single below shows RockFerry station on the cover
Only it it isn't Rock ferry at all. The real rock Ferry Station is here:
The flowers and sea background are missing from the picture because they are not there! Rock Ferry is on the outer fringes of Birkenhead and one of the roughest towns you will find anywhere. It is a most unlikely place to have a song/album devoted to it! Simon

I've been listening to Miles Davis - Live at Montreux all day long. Every version of Jean-Pierre is just great, an there are 6 of them on the whole box.
